To all members, their wives, parteners, families and friends I wish a very happy new year. Let us try to make 2010 a year to remember for all the right reasons.
Life is like a mirror,if you frown at it,it frowns back, if you smile,it returns the greeting. Best wishes to you all which ever side of the world you may be.

We are a local Devon charity, based in Bideford, and our Mission Statement is "to help people with a learning disability achieve the best quality of life, choice & independence through the provision of care, support & development". We offer residential care services to 23 clients in 3 separate lodges. Most of our clients are profoundly disabled, both physically and mentally with an age range 18-80. Some have been with us for 30 years, they have nowhere else to go. This is their home.

We are asking if you would consider us a worthy beneficiary of your fundraising and hope to hear from you in due course.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email. If you need to know more about the work we do please take the time to visit our website - www.northamlodge.co.uk or you can ring our Executive Director, Charlie Dixon or our Bursar, Carron Holmes

Yours sincerely,
Annabel Cope (Fundraising & Publicity Assistant)

Childrens Convoy.
Thanks to all those who commenterd on the Childrens Convoy. It was good to see comments from our younger members of our Club, their contribution show's that they are very interested in what the Club can do for others. It was a wonderful day, for those who drove lorries and for those special Children. A day when our Club shows the public what we do best. A day when there is a need for work to be done before, during and after the event, but with the team we have we allways seem to get it right. Our 10th Convoy and with 36 lorries, it must be done right to have lasted that long and to have 36 lorries in these difficult times. Thank's to all those who contributed towards the wonderful day, we will need your support again please next year.
